Hyuga Keishuen Garden & Rose Garden

Hyuga Keishuen Garden, nestled within Hinata Miyazaki Prefectural Comprehensive Sports Park, is a traditional Japanese garden steeped in timeless beauty. Divided into an area featuring a great pond and lush greenery and the Fudoki-no-Oka (“Hill of Local Chronicles”) steeped in history, the garden boasts loveliness in every season. Highlights include the magnificent Japanese irises—with around 8,000 plants in full bloom in early summer—and an authentic traditional tea house.
In the adjacent Rose Garden, approximately 7,000 roses reach their peak in a riot of colors in both spring and autumn. Enjoy a leisurely stroll surrounded by their brilliant spectacle and rich, sweet fragrance.
