※This article was written in September 2025.
The “Yellow Post Box of Happiness,” located just before the Yayoi Bridge leading to Aoshima, is a charming photo spot set up to wish happiness upon all who visit. The post box is inspired by the romantic tale of Toyotamahime and Yamasachihiko from Japanese mythology, who are said to have exchanged love letters. This postbox was painted a vibrant yellow as a symbol of joy and good fortune.
